Hi all,

I parked my car up at heathrow yesterday and I was called by the company now to let me know that I left my dipped lights on. I'm away for 2 weeks.
Is there a tweak for this? Or will sending them the keys, which will arrive there in 2 days, help me avoid a flat battery upon my arrival.

DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

They should turn themselves off even if you leave the light switch on, once you remove the key. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

they're still on according to the guy, and this was about 24 hours after I parked the car up.
Are you sure they should turn off with the key out, even when the light control, on the dash to the right of the steering wheel (in piccie below), points north (dipped lights)?

Yep the lights go off when ignition turned off. Even if on position or auto. Only time they stay on is when delay on exit is set. Only lights that can stay on is side lights. So sounds like you got a relay issue 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I also think there is a battery load safe option where the car will shut everything down to conserve the battery eg turn the lights off Mike

DO NOT send them the keys I'd much rather deal with a flat battery than a lost set of keys

Yep you're right guys, best to deal with the battery issue when I get back, just hope you're correct mse about the battery load safe shut-down.

And I'll have to check that relay problem when I get back!
