tyre canisters

My sport came without a spare of any sort, just one of those canister things. Question is will they inflate a flat so I could get to a garage they just don't look man enough !!. In the process of getting a proper spare winch and all, just got a big hole at the moment looks like someone nicked it from the last owner.

I've carried a couple of canisters for years together with a motorcycle tyre repair kit which has several 'plugs' you screw into the hole. BMW motorcycle dealers usually have them in stock.

I've found them very effective for emergency use, although I did have one in rear tyre for couple (because I forgot about it) and the tyre never lost pressure.
