2005 RRS SC iphone cradle?

Hi

I have recently purchased a 2005 RRS SC Razz and notice that the PTI has a cradle connector in the centre console on the underside of the lid above the fridge. I have an iphone 4s, does anyone know if there is a cradle that you can buy that will fit, cant seem to find one anywhere and to use the PTI via bluetooth i have to manually pair every single time and the phone book doesnt transfer. Question

Any ideas or solutions?

Rich

The PTI system is fairly crap to be honest. I lived with it for 4 years before going mad.

LR only made a few adapters for the cradle for a tiny set of phones (a few Nokia's etc) - no chance for i-anything!

There's a couple of chaps on here who can remove the crap PTI and install the D4 bluetooth module (the latest) to give you proper bluetooth, address book on dash etc.

Bodsy did mine a week or so ago and I haven't looked back!! Very Happy

your software can be updated to stop the constant pairing and display your phone book

Yeah, I should have asked if you have the after-sales or factory fit system Smile

But I don't think the factory fit was available on the 2005...

If he's got the cradle then he should have PTI not the LR aftermarket kit Bluetooth Exchange www.bluetoothexchange.co.uk

Thanks Wiggs, I'll take a look n see if removing this will be straightforward for me. Is taking the side panel off easy enough? To get better access to the module.

Pti system is definitely factory fit not aftermarket n uses pairing code 2121

take you 5 mins to swap ..there are instructions on the website .

its proberly easier just to pull the whole side panel away ,than trying to do it through the access panel Bluetooth Exchange www.bluetoothexchange.co.uk
