I quite often go to Warkworth in northumbria, and use this as my base, fantastic cottages, very clean and well presented and dog friendly. Thumbs Up

We head down to Cotswolds/Oxford to visit our daughter mainly and it is a pricey area with poor standards due to popularity IMHO so we bought the caravan after a 10 year break from towing and have to say enjoying the freedom more this time without the "Are we there yet?", "I need the toilet" and "I'm bored" commentary from the back seat - oh and this time we have sat nav so marital relations have improved too - in fact we have a common enemy - the Censored Land Rover Sat Nav Rolling Eyes

The last couple of weeks it's tried to take me on green lanes, into no entry junctions and down dead end roads - have you ever tried a 3 point turn with a 27 foot caravan Evil or Very Mad

Also the 3 route option brings up the same route 3 times Shocked Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Another reason to book a hotel...

Seriously, muddy I hope you get a decent resolution to this. Too easy for companies to walk away these days... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Swift- very happy with it, just needs the leak on the front which is booked in for next week

Quite interested in swifts new line up, they have done away with wood and use plastics now for strength and weight saving

So more soggy wood structure In the event of a leak Bow down

I like the new 2014 Storm or Mistral but worried about buying another Elddis now and can't px or sell mine until they fix it Thud

Looked at Swift but was warned off by a very disgruntled owner and if yours is leaking Nick that's put me off too Shocked Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

No visible leak though, it's just damp readings, sorting it, so hopefully no issue once completed

Had no issues with damp in my previous 2 Sterlings, (swift Group Products)

New PURe design might be better for it too with o wood structure

Getting back to the OP's point.

Surely if the 'van can't be left out in the temperate climate of the UK without the risk of panels creasing then under the Sale of Goods Act it ain't fit for purpose. The warranty period is not relevant but the fact it has a 6 year cover reinforces your claim.

Of to the Small Claims court and hit with it.
