Suspension Fault and underpowered battery linked?

Hi,

I've got a 2005 RRS SC. When i took the car for a test drive originally it kept coming up with a HDC fault, this was the only fault encountered, i insisted that the dealer fix this before pickup. When i picked the RRS up the dealer confirmed that they had changed the battery. But as i was driving it away i then got a 'Suspension Fault - Normal Height Only' and this comes on within a minute of starting the car everytime.

I've checked the compressor and had this looked at (including the air drier, ECU and all the seals) by the dealer twice now but they claim it isnt faulty, it was replaced when they took the car in, a second garage who specialize in 4x4 have also looked at it and give me the same feedback. I've got a 15month extra warranty on the car and the dealer is now saying that if i have an issue i need to take it up with AutoGroup under that warranty when i get the paperwork through basically washing their hands of the car and me now advising me that Normal height is fine to drive.

I recently had the battery tested and alternator and they appear fine according to the spotty geek at the garage, although i notice that the battery is only 70AH and 700 amps. This seems a little underpowered to what i am seeing on some of the forums here for a 2005 Petrol, could the suspension actually be fine and the underpowered battery be the cause of the issue?

Yours should have at least as a minimum a 90AH and 950amps as this would have been ok when first fitted it is now considered to small so the bigger the better, I bet thats why your getting the error pop up.
