The fuel pump fuse is on the ignition live, and is located in the engine bay, you can use this with a piggy back fuse carrier and it will give you an ignition live if your fitting something in the engine bay.

Get a piggy back fuse from Fleabay and use fuse 58 in the lower glove box, just insert the piggy back and another fuse for your supply this will be live when you turn on your ignition.

"Thanks for the info. I can see exactly what I need to do. To save the problem of tracking the wire from the car interior through to the engine bay, is there any fuse I could use in the 'engine compartment fuse box'? Andrew"

Yes just get a dvm and check some of the empty relay positions in the fuse box next to the battery there are a couple in there that work with the ignition on or off, then just use a flat spade connector to insert in to the feed and then branch off that with a inline fuse to what you want to feed. This post by Wiggs should help you.. http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/displayima...&pos=2 Flack |
