Hi All, I would like to change the rear light clusters to 2010 versions with resistors fitted. I have read loads of info on here about them, where to get them etc but most of these are quite old threads and no up to date info coming throguh on them hence the new post.
Simple question; where would you all recommended i buy a set of 2010 rear lights with resistors already fitted?

I got a set of 2012 lights from ebay and also purchased the resistors from there! Easy to fit with a soldering iron!

Supply seems to have dried up maybe something to do with the model is no longer made & therefore the lights are no longer easily stolen
If you do find some - remember the newer version are the lights with the black inserts not grey  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Just had a quick search and there are a few on ebay but the price seems to have gone up! Still a great upgrade and well worth it!

Don't forget, you will also require additional reflectors because the Led lights don't have them.

Best price I have found is £325 plus postage from DCC for some hawke rear lights. Prefer to go with OEM 2010 or later. They all seem very expensive?many other ideas of where I can try? 2014 RRS HSE, SVR body kit fitted.

just a case of keep looking i'm afraid... i got a set of genuine 2010 ones off fleabay a month or so ago for £270 (and fitted the resistors myself)... they sometimes come up in the for sale section of this forum too

As a stop gap, you could always "tint" your existing lights, I have seen a few, not really my cup of tea, then again, I am quite happy with my old lights. I think I read on here, that if you update to the later LED lights then you can stick on VW van rear reflectors to make your car legal, (sounds a tad Halfords to me).

The plus point for us cheep skates, (and part time Spanish peasant) the good news is, if I tail end a Sport with illegal no reflector lights, then I can always claim I did not see them and that they are illegal / do not meet design intent / not homologated on the vehicle MY, bet I would win my case as well.

However, if anyone has a set of the later lights going cheap, then first dips please  In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
