Greece 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Fuji White
Battery issue

I had my battery replaced the other day.
I went to my car that morning and found the battery completely flat.

I bought the car, a 3.6td 2009,2 months ago,so I'm not familiar with the previous battery"s life span.
What I do not understand is that appart from a massage on the radio screen("Low power mode") when I would try to put the volume over the 20 setting,no other syptom occured to show that my battery is dying soon.Starter turning slow or something..
With the new battery everything works fine. Only the massage on the radio is still there!
Does anyone know why this is happening. Some mechanic told me that is irrelevant to the main battery. There is another battery inside the stereo?

Does this happen when the car is moving - engine on or when the key is removed - if its when the keys removed I'm sure it's normal. I've never heard of a battery inside the stereo Embarassed 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

I just hope is not an alternator issue. It's happening when the car is mooving too. There are times though, that it let me incrase the volume higher than 20 increment. I thought it does so after a long journey, but this is not the case. Its quite unpredictable really.
