Hope it works when you need it. There are a few on here who have been badly let down. As a valid question arises from your statement, how is Warrenty Wise going to negotiate Dealer to £100 an hour or are they now saying you have to take your car to an Indi or one of their own approved cowboys? Does it cover consequential damage Question If it doesn't, then your stuffed. Whistle That is their get out clause should for example you cook your engine caused by a leaking radiator or your egr valves fail due to build up of soot. Always check these things, it usually in the section, Whats not covered. Wink

Can't speak for any experience with Warranty Wise but Ive had Warranty Direct cover on the RS for three years and haven't had any problems with any claims covering alternator, wishbone bushes and ARB and new mounting bracket. I would have thought WW would be similar as they are competitors. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Having spoke to both of them, they all seem the same

warranty direct slagged warranty wise off

warranty wise never said anything a about them.

I asked about EGR valves coking up,

If they coke up they dont cover them if they break then they doo cover them

I was chatting to a bloke that works for LR he said if your EGR valve cokes up and your engine management light comes on if you keep driving it then it will break then it is covered

just becouse its coked up dosnt mean its doing any further damage to your engine.

Im sure all the tech's on her will have there views on this subject, (I am not a tech im just saying what he said)

As for as the warranty goes hope i will never need it but if i doo i will let you know how warranty wise perform 2007 RANGE ROVER SPORT 2.7 TDV6 HSE in silver

I think the better example is a turbo.

If a turbo breaks and writes off your engine - are you covered just for the turbo or the replacement engine? Mike
