If you have the steering column green/red switches then yes that should mean you have BT. Switch on the car, open Bluetooth on the phone and it should find Land Rover. Select pair with this device and use code '2121'. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

On an 05 it may have been the dealer fit phone kit which uses code 0000
This one cannot be upgraded to show the contacts on the radio screen.

If it is the one that uses 2121, then that can be upgraded no problem Thumbs Up

You can remove the dealer fit version, although it is a bit of a pain to get the wires out etc, but then you can install the D4/rrs2010 Bluetooth module.
It would need enabling as well as fitting Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

I can provide BT software update to allow contacts on the radio screen from your phonebook. By post and very simple especially in RRS as you get access through the small panel on the right hand side of the boot. Thumbs Up

Let me know if you need. Thumbs Up

Cheers

Pm on its way.

The contacts list is updated everytime you connect. So other people can't use your contact list details. Thumbs Up

Only takes 30-60 seconds to sync usually. Bodsys Brake Bible
