England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Firenze Red
thinking of buying another rrs

Hi everybody I am a new member to this site but have been browsing it for several yeasr .until 15 months ago I had a 2010 rrs but changed it for an evoque dynamic which is a very nice vehicle but I am missing the sport
Today I have been looking around for something to replace the evoque with but the trade in price seems to be low against a new rrs black edition
Also I have looked at the audi q5 and seem to get a better trade in price
Has anybody got any thoughts on the audi
I must add I have owned land rover for the past 12 years and will be sorry to have to buy a foreign car if I do I will still keep browsing this excellent site

If you like soulless cars that drive themselves, Q5 is the one for you. I drove nieghbours 3.0 tdi, and although it goes well, its no Sport. Modern Audis really are much the same, easy to drive and dont go wrong which is a plus point Whistle Having done 280 miles today in Fullfat, have to say I miss my Sport too, actually felt seasickness on way home Rolling with laughter 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Luxury Fuji White

we bought a specced up q7 s-line plus ,new in January,,,,after our ffrr
we only had it a week, and had to sell it to get our black series, because it was just boring and as said previously "soulless"
I nearly had an accident in it at 10mph in a sprinkling of snow ,and after that I couldn't let my wife drive it ,,it had to go
range rovers just have an aura about them and make you feel special,,this alone is worth the extra price
did you go on the q5 forum and ask advice? if not ,,then you've already made your mind up,,,,welcome Thumbs Up 2013.5 rrs black edition in white here now

What tyres was it wearing and what were the circumstances? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Get the green wellies out and ask the gillie to fetch the Labrador, we are going on a ride in the special RRS, those Labradors just hate those Chavvy Audis you know. Rolling with laughter

it was on the 20" wheels with whatever tyres are standard,,,,i was going to pick a Chinese takeaway up and was going very slightly downhill in a main street at a little more than walking pace,,a car had stopped in the road 100yards in front when I gently pressed the brake to stop in plenty time and space, when the abs came on ,and the car just would not stop,,there was no black ice but just a sprinkle of snow enough to cover the road markings
i'm genuinely a safe and confident driver but got a fright as the car just couldn't stop,,i was lucky enough that the car in front pulled away just before contact,,i had to get out and check the front as I was convinced I hit him
after talking to the rr salesman a few weeks ago,he said within a fortnight of me trading in my new q7 he had another two new q7's being traded in for exactly the same reason,,they don't feel safe in snow,,, 2013.5 rrs black edition in white here now

Update on my original post. On monday I tried the audi q5 and was impressed with the 3.0 engine and the auto box but as many people have said it does not compare with the rrs So it was off to the land rover dealer to see about a rrs.I have now ordered a new rrs black edition in firenze red with black interior , Delivery should be about 2 long weeks I hope this is a good colour choice

DP at Guy Salmon has that colour combination and I nearly fell over my tongue looking round it. You will be delighted when you get it Thumbs Up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

They were spot on and performed perfectly they had successfully slowed us from 130mph to the slow inside speed of 70 because i chickened out keeping up with the germans! Mike
