Hi Jim,
I used broadspeed once, £1000 deposit all spec confirmed by phone as well as in writing back to me. Had at very least 10 telephone conversations about my car order along the way. Sold my Aston to accommodate new car (to a dealer for convenience and hence lost more than maybe I could have), new car was meant to be with me in 2 weeks. I cannot stress that I had loads of communication back and forth with order numbers, my address on their headed paper etc. 1 week before I was meant to take delivery they advise me they had cocked up and had never actually submitted an order for a new car for me with their supplier.. Hence I was left car less, without the new car also that I was extremely excited about (2011 sport) and if I'd have known I had more time would have either not sold my Aston or certainly may have held out for a better deal.
No real apology and certainly nothing else to compensate (I'd have been 'unhappy' still but at least a £5 bottle of wine would have been a genuine gesture).. I would never go down that route again unfortunately. They also emailed me a document by accident of at least 30 other 'failed' orders... 2017 MY - Dynamic, same again!
2016 MY - Dynamic - same spec again all round, engine a noticeable improvement
2015 HSE Dynamic - same spec as the last plus Meridian, Full Size Spare & InControl Apps
HSE Dynamic 2014:
Ebony / Lunar, Heated Mirrors, Privacy Glass, Heated Steering Wheel, Red Callipers, Interior Mood Lighting, Ebony Headlining, Panoramic Roof, Electric Towbar, Centre Console Fridge.
Previously: 2011 RRS, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Audi S5 Cab, RRS, Audi S4 Cab.
