There is a flap at the back of the boot floor that rests against the back of the seat. Pull it back and see if it allows access or reveals where the loop has gone. I don't actually know if it would help, just hoping it might. |

Yep, tried that but still cannot get to the tab. It's right on the end of my fingers but feels like its either stuck between the frame of the seat or its wrapped around the seat tubing. So annoying. Have tried various implements to pry it loose but nothing seems to work. 2005 Rang Rover Supercharged Loving every minute ! |

You could try lowering the seat back while doing that, it might just give you a bit more reach.
