Kam,
My Dad is looking for a replacement to his P38, he will be going for a TD6, however I am unsure how much he wants to spend and how old he wants it to be, as I'm in Argentina all I can do is email the details to them and see if they reply (Phone calls are astronomic).
If anything comes of it I'll be sure to let you know.

Kam, sorry to get your hopes up but my dad is not looking to spend anywhere near as much money I found out today.

RRUK.
Nah, no worries RRUK.. i just posted it about, as it was offered to us that day, if anyone else was interested, would have forwarded on sellers details.. not a car we were selling personally, but it looked like a good deal from a reputable trader we know.
I think the TD6's will take a bit of a hit when the TDV8's start rolling out in Oct, so i would personally wait if i was him, you could pick a nice one up late 20's, early 30's. But remind him this is a Land Rover product, so best to be in warranty! heheh.. same as any other car though mind.
One of our clients who turned down the X5 i was selling, as "too expensive" bought another one for around 19k with 2005/52 with 80k on the clock. His turbo went pop the other week, and it cost him 1300 to fix (after Bmw agreed to cover the labour).. ouch... !!
