max spacer on standard wheels stud?

hi guys i know spacers are not to most peoples liking but i wanted to know whats the biggest slip on spacer i can put on a rrs diesel 2005 with using the standard studs? I was thinking 5/7 mm?

Think you have answered your own question. Whistle My humble advice would be don't fit them at all. The detrimental weight and additional stresses put on all components by widening track will far outweigh the visual benefit. And you will never get the geometry right so will be forever replacing tyres that are worn on inner edges. Big Cry
I run 20mm spacers on my RS4, with BBS adaptors that bolt to hub simply because I wanted genuine Audi B7 wheels. It has taken me years of tweaking to get the set up right.

TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I ran 20mm spacers on my Impreza and as Simon said... it created a lot of issues

ie:
4 wheel alignment due to horrendous bump steer
inner arches has to be rolled due to scuffing



I also put 3mm spacers on my D3 but this was to get the 295/45/20 Grabber UHPs to fit Laughing
It did sit the supercharger V spokes out nicely though with no issues
