I'm surprised - the Stormers are a stock item at at least two of the dealers here in Brussels...and if they are "a dime a dozen" in Oslo, why are you paying 54,000 NOK?

As to the 100,000 GBP for a car worth just a over a quarter that amount...that's what you get for living in the last socialist state. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

I will be using the Sport off road and in the brochures its said I will be able to fit my P38 16" rims which I have left over that are fitted with 245 BFG MT's, however I read somewhere that 16 inch rims will not fit over the dics of the HSE, does anybody know if this is correct before I waste a morning getting back ache???????

Sorry about that I ment to say that the stormers are rare! The 10 Spokes are not.

And I`m happy to say I`m not one of "those" who put them there! RR SPORT TDv6 HSE 2007

Hi Pers

Here in the UK, the Dynamic Pack that comes as standard on the 07MY cars does not include the wheel upgrade - you still get the 19" v5 alloys. The 20" wheels are optional at about £2400 (with tyres). It doesnt include the adaptive headlamps either.

I was told this be three different dealers, and its why I managed to get an 06MY car with the Dynamic Pack, as that has the 20" alloys.

Cant remember the exact price without looking, but the 20" alloy upgrade is around £750 on the 07MY - or so I was told

that doesn't make that much sense to me as that would make the 07MY equivalent HSE with Dynamic and 20" alloys a over 2.5k more than the 06MY - you may well be right though

Not too fussed myself, as I want the 19"s for offroad work - I am planning on getting some 21" RSC's to fill the arches Laughing

Thats what I thought Kaine - its nearly £3k more for the 07 spec to match the 06 with Dynamic Pack. I was told its because the TDV8 will have the 20" alloys as standard, and they want to try to keep it that way, putting folks off upgrading to the 20"ers.

I'm afraid this is not going to work. I own both a RRS and a Disco II with two complete sets of 18" alloys and tyres and one set of 16" and wanted to do the same:

18" P38 or Disco II wheels (are the same) wont fit the RRS or Discovery 3 without special adapters. However it's not brake disc clearing which is the issue, it has to do with the offset.

16" P38 or Disco II allyos don't clear the discs of the RRS and are therefore completely out of the equation.

Twisted Evil that's LR standard practice: always make sure a car's predecessor wheels cant be fitted to the new model! SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

I e-mailed sales@landrover-dipolmaticsales.co.uk and asked them :
"Is it possible to get the RR Sport TDv6 HSE with dynamic pack
delivered with the 20 inch Stormer alloys"

They answered:
20" Stormer - option @ £425.53
Dynamic Pack - option @ £1,630.43

Hmmm. The 06MY price list shows the HSE Dynamic Pack at £2750 (incl VAT) which includes the 20" 10 spoke alloys, and the 20"Stormers as a £411.25(incl VAT) option - which is per wheel and excluding tyres (ie approx £2500 for the set)

Maybe they've quoted for the dynamic pack without the 10 spokes, so you can add the Stomers !?!

I would have thought its cheaper to buy the ordinary Dynamic Pack, then buy Stormers off ebay and swap the tyres over.

I ordered the Dynamic pack on my 06MY HSE TDV6 and it included the 20" 10 spokes, adaptive headlights, dynamic response and Brembo brakes for £2750 It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go!
