515 Miles Out Of A Tank Of Fuel SDV6

Had a run up Northumbria last week, beautiful part of the country Smile Topped the tank up with the usual shell Nitro+ which i have been using for about 6 weeks now, zeroed the trip computer, i did 30 miles pottering around before i hit the motorway. Then 145 miles of motorway but sat in traffic jam for 40 minutes stop start going no faster than 15 mph tops Sad Plenty of country lane driving thoughout the week with the odd dual carriageway blast, just before i set off back i checked the miles left in the take and it said 142 miles to empty, knowing it was 145 miles home i thought this is going to be intresting seeing if i can get home on the remaining fuel without filling up. Laughing Drove home keeping to the speed limits (well i did try) Wink pulled up in my drive fuel guage had disapeared altogether but still showed 14 miles left to empty on the computer Shocked Computer said average mpg 34 Thumbs Up Average speed 34 Shocked No idea where it got this figure from considering i'd been doing about 350 miles of motorway driving at motorway speeds. I have to say thats the first time ive ever got anywhere near 500 mile out of a tank of fuel out of any of my sports. Perhaps the shell Nitro+ has made some improvement to my fuel consumption. Shocked
