2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Nightmare Shocked
Have a closer look at the original pictures you posted at the start of this thread, it looks like Piano/Ebony interior to me so they may of given you the wrong motor. If that is the case take it straight back and reject it, I certainly wouldn't let them change the interior 2019 BMW X3 2.0i M Sport in metalic black- Brilliant

It's all quite appalling really

Don't which is worst

1. the fact that the workmanship was so poor
2. The zero quality check afterwards
3. The dealers apparent lack of concern with the "it'll be alright in the end" attitude

And all this after they may have misled you on the car in the first place!

I may be paranoid but the car was locked when delivered and took the photos but I could only look through the windows - when I asked to look inside I was told best to wait until it was valeted because it would look so much better Confused

Yesterday when I collected it was again locked - I spent about 2 hours doing paperwork/being introduced to everyone and then the salesman moved the car next to mine to transfer some bits before I had to dash home so did not get the chance to give it a good scrutiny Sad

2 unanswered phone calls to the salesman yesterday afternoon and no reply from email to Manager does not look good Big Cry

I had been assured that the new dealership is nothing like the last but just not seeing it at the moment Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

forget phone calls, drive there and hand them the keys back

Unless you want to risk them changing everything (which sounds like you don't as they have done the other stuff correctly!) or your going to settle for what you have (why should you have too?)

I agree Nick - thinking of driving there to hand back the car but also need to get my RRS (that they haven't paid me for yet), cancel finance and get the LRCS contribution used back but somehow think it might not be straightforward Banging Head Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

hopefully the show room will be busy when you go, so kick up a fuss, get LRCS involved now and the finance company

I assume the VIN number on the paperwork is correct? My Brother got his and the details were for another car they were preparing at the same time and somehow the dealers had registered him to the other persons car and visa versa Idea

I wouldn't have driven it out of the dealers without a good inspection, but that is done now...

The question is, do you like the interior? If so, negotiate a rebate. 2013 RRS SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

I know when i got my new motor, i asked to see it as soon as it was delivered to the dealer so that i could check that it had all the extra's on it that i had ordered. Thankfully it had. There is no way i would accept anything other than what i had ordered, no way, these vehicles cost way too much to be fobbed off with second best. I'm lucky i guess, my dealer knows what i expect and tends to bend over backwards to look after all their customers.

Normally I do but it was in the showroom so difficult to see properly until outside in the sun and by the time they brought it out I had been there 2 hours and needed to get home Embarassed

The Anigre is very dark but in the sun it's not Black like I requested. The stitch looks grey not Ivory so again not what I ordered. The bumper is scratched and can be sorted - but why should you buy a car worth nearly £60k and compromise Thud Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Ady - I discussed my previous issues with the salesman who told me he was just like me and would expect it to be perfect, his dealership pride themselves on customer care and I had nothing to worry about - I am such an idiot Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Muddy, don't be posting on here Wink , get yourself straight down to the dealership and get this sorted Thumbs Up

Like other have said, I'm not sure I'd be keen for an interior swap, but people like x5pea (where did he go Question ) do it all the time, so maybe not as bad as I think.

Either way, you have three choices as I see it:
1) Hand the car back, get yours back, walk away and go and see the HGG team and take their offer up.
2) Get the current dealers to sort everything and offer you come compo for the hassle.
3) Accept the car 'as is' (damage to bumper repaired of course) and get 5 years free service (transferrable) or something similar to ease the pain.

Anyway, try and get it sorted by the end of today, the longer you leave it, the harder the task it will be to resolve Big Cry

Good luck Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

It depends how much hassle you want... If I liked the interior (regardless of what you ordered) I would negotiate at least £1000 refund from the incompetent dealer. Start off with rejection though to use as bargaining!! 2013 RRS SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White
