If they change the interior, you will have more rattles and squeaks than a 30 year old mini. Don't let them do it As said above, sounds like they have given you the wrong motor Reject it. I would. |

Bloody 'ell Muddy - I cant believe I'm reading this. Get yourself back round to the dealers and give it to them large.

Looking in the boot the left hand panel has 2 broken clips, the right hand panel has 1 disconnected and 1 dropped off - swap the seats and door panels and you'll never know sir - don't make me laugh

I may be paranoid but the car was locked when delivered and took the photos but I could only look through the windows - when I asked to look inside I was told best to wait until it was valeted because it would look so much better

I agree Nick - thinking of driving there to hand back the car but also need to get my RRS (that they haven't paid me for yet), cancel finance and get the LRCS contribution used back but somehow think it might not be straightforward Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I wouldn't have driven it out of the dealers without a good inspection, but that is done now...

I know when i got my new motor, i asked to see it as soon as it was delivered to the dealer so that i could check that it had all the extra's on it that i had ordered. Thankfully it had. There is no way i would accept anything other than what i had ordered, no way, these vehicles cost way too much to be fobbed off with second best. I'm lucky i guess, my dealer knows what i expect and tends to bend over backwards to look after all their customers. |

Normally I do but it was in the showroom so difficult to see properly until outside in the sun and by the time they brought it out I had been there 2 hours and needed to get home The Anigre is very dark but in the sun it's not Black like I requested. The stitch looks grey not Ivory so again not what I ordered. The bumper is scratched and can be sorted - but why should you buy a car worth nearly £60k and compromise Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW Still hoping for a S2 one day! |

Ady - I discussed my previous issues with the salesman who told me he was just like me and would expect it to be perfect, his dealership pride themselves on customer care and I had nothing to worry about - I am such an idiot Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

It depends how much hassle you want... If I liked the interior (regardless of what you ordered) I would negotiate at least £1000 refund from the incompetent dealer. Start off with rejection though to use as bargaining!! 2013 RRS SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White
