How often should the air suspension cycle?

My warranty is about to expire so the dealer has told me to compile a list of anything that I feel might need replacing before the cut-off date.
The only thing that irritates me is the air suspension compressor tends to cycle quite often during Regular and Off Road Modes.
Is this normal? If the suspension bags, connections etc are all in first class working order then how often should the compressor turn on and off with out me touching anything?

I was told there is also a software patch that can alter the cycling times for the compressor but surely if it's on the way out it's going to continue to run more often anyways!
The car is 2008 and has covered 80,000Km only....how long can I expect the suspension air bags to last? Maybe they are the cause of the increased compressor cycling?

Thx. Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.

Yes there is software update for the new type of pumps that are fitted, it is supposed to makes the pumps run at lower pressure so as to not put as much strain on the pump.
A new relay is also fitted, if yours is running a lot then it is maybe starting to fail have you ever seen on the message screen raising slowly.

Flack Thumbs Up

Cheers Flack.
The car seems to raise okay, but once it's up to the normal ride height I can hear the compressor cutting in and out every few minutes to maintain the ride height.
To be honest I haven't watched the in-car display or timed the actual cycling times.

I think I'll ask the service manager the same questions...thx for the inputs. Thumbs Up Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.
