Hi there,

I have a factory fitted rear entertainment system on my 07 HSE. I think it's great being able to play dvd's & tv on it, but it feels so unmodern by not being able to stream videos from my samsung S3.

Does anyone know if this can be done with some software upgrades? i understand this may be difficult, but it is 2013 after all

DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

I'm sure the tech is there to do it, but it will be hardware, not software you need.
A few on here are tech minded (Bodsy for one) so will be better placed to comment, but I guess you would need some form of interface box to facilitate it. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

For example whilst driving back from London the other day the missus wanted to watch the swedish princess wedding on the screens instead of on the mobile (she was streaming from bbc play). not being able to satisfy the missus is a big no-no
