whale of a time part II

Due to the obligatory boobie hijacking Laughing of the original thread, i have kept my promise and posted a few more piccies on here for those who are educated Rolling Eyes and like to see things that are nice and wet.

Taken by my own fair hand with a very old Minolta AF 35MM, but reasonably happy with the results, the new lens seems to work a treat, 70-210 macro.

Breaching Humpback -

very pleased with the colours on the spouting

Just to show the size of the Censored , against a yacht which was about 60 metres away

Ciao

Schmoogle it is pretty mind blowing to see it, the pictures do not do it justice. At one stage we saw a pod of 6 males (bulls) on the surface, mix of humpbacks and southern right whales (bigger Censored ), pushing each other, generally having some boisterous fun.

If you ever come down under, make sure it is in June/July and get on a whale watch tour. i am glad i have done it... oh and take loads of film Wink Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Apparently Japan has been buying votes from nations that do not traditionally get involved, they are sponsoring their membership of the IWC, in order to get a greater majority of friendly votes so they can reinstitute commercial whaling.

Weird bit is, the Japs, have no real historical link to whale meat, it was based on the last hundred years or so when they fell on hard times. What whales they have caught for slaughter (they bullshit about research) are stockpiled in the same way as a EU butter mountain, they cannot even shift it to the schools and old gits homes.

SHARK FISHING

Out on her royal yacht the queen was enjoying the sea air when she spied a man in the water off the port bow - clearly being menaced by a very large shark.

Through her binoculars she could see it was Christian Ronaldo, struggling frantically to free himself from the jaws of a 20 foot shark! The queen ordered the captain to change course to try and save the poor man, but she knew the yachts top speed would never get them there in time.

At that exact moment a speedboat containing three men wearing white England tops sped into view. One of the men took aim at the shark and fired a harpoon into its ribs, immobilizing it instantly. The other two reached out and pulled Ronaldo from the water and, using long clubs, beat the shark to death.

They bundled the bleeding, semi-conscious Ronaldo into the speedboat along with the dead shark and prepared for a hasty retreat, when they heard frantic calling ...... It was the Queen calling them to the yacht.

On reaching the yacht the Queen went into raptures about the rescue and said, "I'll give you a knighthood for your brave actions. I thought the England team would hate Ronaldo after the world cup. But I see that the England team are true heroes and should serve as a model for sportsmanship to other countries." She knighted them and sailed away.

As she departed Rooney asked the others, "Who was that?!"

"That," Beckham answered, "was our Queen. She rules the Commonwealth and knows everything about our country."

"Well," Rooney replied, "she knows Censored all about shark fishing. How's the bait holding up?"
" WITH MORE EXTRAS THAN A HOLLYWOOD EPIC "
