we got something like that on our old ffrr,,it would drop a "smidgeon" of coolant onto the exhausts from somewhere resulting in a burning smell sometimes when getting out,,it only needed a quarter litre of coolant every couple of months and we eventually traded it

Do you notice if the burning smell is stronger around the nearside rear wheel ?

What was the temperature at the time? If it's cold outside and the coolant isn't up to temp then the FBH will kick in. It's been a bit cold down here the last day or so - what's it been like in Thurso? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Will checkdryden1407 will check coolant and keep an eye on it, next time I smell it will check around rear wheel area v8sc, RRSTDV8 did read something about that in search, it has been cold, down to 3-4 degrees last couple of days, could you explain what it actually is and does please as am not that mechanically minded so everyday a learning day would this give out a burning smell itermitedly or constant..thanks for the quick reply guys. 2007 V8 HSE RRS STORNAWAY GREY |
