His Freelander is almost two and a half years old, he has probably done somewhere between twenty and thirty thousand miles on the original goodyear wranglers. No wonder he hasn't got any grip on "green ice".

If he had any serious off road experience he would know that if one wheel looses traction in a cross axle situation like that, he should gradually accelerate until the traction control cuts in and diverts power to the other wheels.

Things like this make my blood boil. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I did my first LRE in a Freelander... nowt wrong with it at all. Coped admirably with most obstacles, although due to less ground clearance than other LRs, we had to miss some of the more challenging pieces...

Yep! He won't have got legal aid for that sort of thing, so he'll need to find 80k from somewhere.... silly knob.
