Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White
Gear Selector in Park, Vehicle thinks its in Reverse

Can someone tell me wtf is wrong with my Range Rover.. Wife reversed into the parking bay today, put the vehicle in Park and the EPB on, switched off, then reversing sensors came on and R is flashing on the dash,
so now it will not start because it thinks its in fecking reverse..

Any idea's Evil or Very Mad Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Update

NRMA assist got underneath and stated basically the Selector linkages are Censored ,
now waiting for a flat bed to take it to the nearest dealer.. not Censored happy at all Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Ok - something new for me as I thought there were no actual linkages and everything is done electronically. Not sure I would trust what an NRMA guy said - I was going to say did you try a hard reset of the computer systems but if there are mechanical linkages there would be no point.

Paddi as it is under warranty i will let LR sort the Censored out Thumbs Up

Went to the dealers today, the vehicle was promptly delivered to them at 2:30 this afternoon Evil or Very Mad but they had a
quick look, transmission Cable has snapped Shocked one of the first they have seen. New Cable on order and
should be back on the road tomorrow..... Fingers crossed Thumbs Up Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
