To buy or not to buy....

I'm tempted to coming back to RRS family. I'm thinking to buy a 2013MY RRS HSE SDV6 With many extras (Tyre monitoring, Sunroof, Surround Cameras, Black Lacquer....) It's from the previous generation. It's new, I think the last one on a dealership in Spain; only 66km on the clock.
We are closing on 61.000€.

I try the new model few days ago, but little disappointment to see that low gear box is extra, digital display extra.... etc,etc... so, if I wan something "similar" I've to spend around 80K € for a 14MY.
Anyway, the last generation from a platform, usually haven't almost any problems. The new developments use to have some bugs an many recalls....

If the "old" model gives you what you want and the price is good for you then buy it! Thumbs Up

You're certainly not the first person to point out how much extra one has to pay to get the equipment on the new model that was standard on the old model. It will certainly push some people away from RRS ownership, I'm sure. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

61000 euros seems very very expensive to me, I must say. That's about £51k, I think... Is that how much we have to pay in the UK for a similar machine? L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Every market is completely different. If we compare our prices with USA all UE including UK is mush mor expensive. I don't understand, but.....
As I wrote, a 14MY in Spain with "similar" specs is around 82k euros !!!! So 61 means almost 20k lees... Is it a good price for a discontinued model? .... .... .... Rolling Eyes Yuri

I misread this before - it's basically a new car but 2013MY. Right! Sounds good.
it will lose a lot of value due to being old shape, but then when was buying a RRS a good financial investment?!

Don't think depreciation will be any more than 'normal'...have you seen the price of RRS2....will be a long time before they are within reach of 'working man' 12 plates still fetching £45K ish at dealers and demand is good...

Cars hold their money in Spain, depreciation is not an issue. Thumbs Up even 10 year old cars fetch a small fortune. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

I think is not bad price, as I wrote before, a 14MY withe those extras is around 80 to 84K €. So... 61K€.... Let's see... I'll take my decision this evening.... tic,tac,tic,tac... Surprised The major deprecation has already occurred... Question Yuri

Can't wait for the RRS to arrive, and will be sure to post pics when it does! Loved every minute of FL2 ownership, but decided it was time to change and nothing caught my eye more than the new RRS. Cool
