Some of that video was in the launch

The only problem with most of that, is a significant amount of that kit shown, is not anywhere near the standard High Specification Edition model and the significant cost increase of core items to take it back, just takes me straight away from the sales blurb and focused on what it really is.

Its a real shame...plus its still a jumped up evoque which i struggle to get my head past. Mike

Yeah. the Evoqish look is a very bad thing.
What I like about it is the performance aspect.
To bad they did not do this to the facelift ones. 91 BMW 850CSI

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

To me this vehicle lacks presence, counter to the commentary in the video. It looks small, plastic, evokish and is far less ‘Range Rover’ than the previous sports.

I’m not sure what the overall size is but to me it looks really small, from the outside and also on the inside when you see the driver changing gears etc.

RRS’s of the past have a really aggressive and robust look to them, this one just does not!

I’ve no doubt it will sell, their marketing machine is effective enough, but I always viewed the sport as a slightly different take on the Full-Fat whereas now, I think the sport is a slightly different take on the evoke / Freelander, which is a rather different proposition altogether. --------------------------------------------------------

That's where I'll be heading I think...the new FFRR is a fabulous thing. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
