United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue
Rusting floor pan

As a result of taking body off to carry out other repairs, it is evident that Land Rover hasn't treated the entire floor of the shell
There is a T shaped area that isn't under sealed, running along the prop shaft and then across the line of the back axle.
In my case, at 5/6 years old, there is several areas that are if concern which include body mount and a central seam which if left untreated will result in rust holes. For a quality product, this is a concern to me and I am sure it won't be too long before some if the earlier cars are going to require welding if left untreated.
As the Land Rover body integrity guarantee is only effective if you are the original owner, according to LRCS, I thought I should highlight this as a concern. If LR are inundated with claims for this, they may have to change this somewhat ridiculous and unfair condition of guarantee cover. Mine is covered as I have had the car from new, but I'm sure there will be plenty who won't get it covered
Hope to get photos posted by long suffering Ady if he doesn't mind Thumbs Up

None of this Corrosion is visible when the body is fitted and seems to affect Sports and Discos 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Check the wording - im sure the warranty - including the perforation warranty follows the vehicle not the owner.

Ignore LRCS - check the book... Mike
