England 2008 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Santorini Black
2.7 tdv6 noisy start up for 5 seconds

Been told by a few mechanics that every 2.7tdv6 they have worked on starts a bit noisy on bottom end was wondering if anyone else's does an wat it could be ? Mine sounds rough on bottom but only from cold an only for 5 seconds ish then never again all day ? Any one know why or wat it is ? Cheers guys

building up oil pressure at first start after sitting some hours.

many 2.7 do it

Thanks for the reply so would you say it's nothing to worry about ? Is there anything I can do to make it a bit better its getting a full service on Tuesday ? Thanks again

As far as LR dealer says, nothing to worry about, even the D4 with the 2.7 does it. I have hear a 2010 one sounding as yours. Plenty of miles now from this date, zero problems

I think if a preluber do the trick to avoid dry starts like this...i would install one. No doubt. Dry starts are sooo bad for bearings
