WANTED: Heavy Duty 100% Waterproof Car Cover

Hi all,

I've read the rules and I think I qualify to ask for some advice as "Wanted" rather than "For Sale"

I'm wondering whether any of you enthusiasts have purchased a quality heavy duty cover for your RRS? I have an underground parking space in a communal car park abroad which leaks a little, and has in the past caused slight damage to a hire car due to lime (I think) in the water. I'm obviously nervous about placing my pride and joy there.

I appreciate its not the usual mod Whistle and I have done the google search and found a made to measure one for about £260 but thought I'd also try you guys too. It needs to be 100% waterproof.

Any help, as always, appreciated,

Cheers,

Richard. 2013 (13.5MY) RRS HSE Black | Causeway Grey | Privacy | Ivory & Ebony | Grand Black Lacquer | Style 7 Alloys | AWESOME

Thanks both. I was initially wrong with my price, further enquiries adjusted it to £310. Shocked I will get in contact with "morethanpolish" and see what they do. The original price came from ultimatefinish.

There are no rented garages around where we have our house. There are other spaces which people do rent out in our community garage but as I have one, I feel I should be able to use it. The builders are in around September as it affects a few of us but we are back out in August. I definitely want it underground then if nothing more than to keep it cool. Cool

Didn't notice rolling eyes but wouldn't be offended either Thumbs Up there will be plenty of time to attach those to my other questions in due course Laughing

Thanks again all.

Having had a quick "look" at the hamiltons one, it looks abit flimsy but the price is nice. I'd rather part with good cash for quality than risk soiling the paint.

If yours was Ebay Kensta and a four layer, I would be interested in the link if possible please.

I'll also see if I can get some samples.

Cheers,

It's also worth pointing out with car covers that most of the damage is done with them either flapping around in the wind (if outside) and also from abrasion from dirt when taking on/off.
I'd always try to make sure the car is very clean before putting it on if possible Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Nah... The outdoor one is anything but flimsy!!

FWIW - I've had a couple of them now. A small one for my old Westfields and I'm now using one for my Cerbera. They've been through all sorts of weather conditions, high winds, torrential rain, you name it. Thumbs Up

No offence was meant and admittedly I was looking at the photo on their web page.

We may have a winner with the eBay link - thanks Kensta. Having looked at the sellers shop, I see he does a 5 layer version for around $10 more..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Land-Rover-Range-R...27bdbe8d3e

Thanks again all, including the wise words from Beancounter_74 Thumbs Up

Yo Mary.....

For fear of getting reprimanded for pursuing this with a new member, I'll respond more out of courtesy.

The link in your post doesn't work and your website (in your signature) is a nightmare to navigate. It seems very slow and click one thing, something different pops up.

Do you supply samples of your fabric? The only cover I saw suggested 4 layer and you group everything "Range Rover" so do not know if the price shown is RRS / Evoque / Full Fat.

Not confident enough to purchase I'm sorry to say, but hope you appreciate the feedback.

I think I'll stick with the 5L from the states.
