Germany 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
blowout

a blowout at 90 mph fully packed & with family on board is NOT funny ....

Anyway, managed to put on the spare quickly and returned save (but slow) home.

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

Had a similar exerience less than 24 hours after picking car up, slightly slower being on a UK motorway, but scary enough. Was quite imppressed with how quickly car stabalised after the inital explosive deflation. Came to halt under moderate braking in a streightish line. Cost of new tyre an unexpected expence Censored Newbie to RRS

After 24hours on a new tyre - i hoped you put in a claim with the tyre company, yes they may have tried to blame something like a nail but its worth a try Mike

agree, guess I just had bad luck.

bought a secondhand winterset on 20" stormers with Pirelli wintertyres. Dot code indicates reartyres are from 2008 (front 2011), therefore 5 years old. I have put on new rubber on both rearwheels and shouldn't have troubles anymore.

By the way it was quite amazing how the electronics stabilized the situation ! Even feel more secure in the car now Laughing 3.0TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey, Almond premium, Diamond Turned Style 4
