Noise From Power Steering

Hi All,

My RRS has now developed another 'characteristic' Laughing

When I turn the steering wheel I hear a 'servo' type whine, though not all the time. Checked the Steering fluid and all looks fine.

Had a search on here and it seems it might need some additive in the Power steering fluid Rolling Eyes

Anyone had the same issue and got the solution 'first hand' please

Thanks In Advance

Well, I adjusted the rake/reach of my steering and gave it a good old move around in an attempt to get rid of this squeek and guess what it seemed to have worked Shocked

Early days but I've had a few whine free days - so I recommend the rest of you guys try this - if you haven't already.

Hope it works for you too and wasn't just a coincidence Thumbs Up 2011 Autobiography Santorini Black

Mine was sorted when the dealer changed the power steering fluid to special non squeeky stuff. Apparently its a known problem and there should be a TSB on it - maybe try Bobby's Gallery. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
