Qatar 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue
Brakes

So after 41k kms I had to change the pads and discs on my 2010 RRS 5.0 S/C.

Great service from my dealer, all done in 4 hours for QR4800, thats around 880 pounds, or 220 per tire.

How does that compare with UK costs?

Taking it that the brakes are the same as TDV8, Brembo that is, pads here are 137 odd and discs 155 each plus vat and fitting. I think I was quoted just over 900 to do all four corners. Mine has had pads at each service and discs every other so not a long life. I replaced rears myself using a motor factor, 99 quid for discs and pads and seem perfectly adequate. Whistle 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

I had all four corners done using Ferrodo pads and discs for £550 all in. That was at a local indie. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

That's cos it's a V6 Laughing lightweight compared to stopping a V8. Rolling with laughter
Mine suffer due to towing car trailer or caravan for most of its annual mileage. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

i wouldnt do the rear brakes myself, very expensive if you mess then up, and Im as good diy mechanic, Bodsy's brake bible ( on here somewhere ) tells you how to do it, but you do need to be precise. Fronts are as easy as any other car 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

It really isn't that hard or requires great deal of ability. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I didn't follow the instructions on here, a fellow racer who works for LR said replace discs, tighten tensioner/adjuster until shoes lock then back off seven clicks. I very rarely use my handbrake, loading car trailer is only time that comes to mind , and never had any issues with EHB. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
