2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Got me a Tintent!

Finally plumped on our 1st caravan

2005 Bessacarr 635GL

Did a deal and got it for £7,500 inc fibre poled awning, aqua roll, wastemaster, new tyres and 6 month warranty.

Now need to plan good campsites (young children friendly)

Any suggestions?

National & European

I don't know many good sites down your way, as i only ventured that way a couple of times

I often find myself at the caravan club sites as they are clean and tidy and they have good facilities

My main site I visit is their Clumber Park site, they have a good play area were my son can go play with the group of "friends" that area there, and we feel safe enough with him been there on his own, my younger daughter still need taking there though, they have the whole forest to have a good walk in too, and a few visitor attractions locally too

How old are the kids?

Nick

They are 4 and 3 mate.. So a bit too young for solo venturing.

It's booked in at Stoford (ilfracombe) over Easter break to have a motor mover fitted (2 nights complimentaty stay thrown in)

I'll take a look at your recommendation for summer stuff Thumbs Up RRS gone

I recommend joining caravan club or camping and caravan club Thumbs Up

mine are 4 and 7, but she loves the park too, and enjoys the footpaths around the site, feeding the tree rats and ducks etc

If you want to explore the lakes, then troutbeck Head is a good base

Scarborough West Ayton Caravan Club Site (Great for visiting the area if a beach is required)

OMG!! Shocked I cant believe how many caravanneeeerds are on this site!!! Can you all post the dates you intend on travelling to go on holiday so I can leave the country.... thus avoiding sitting in massive tail backs whilst someone recovers your jack knifed house off the motorway or waits for you to get up a small incline doing 20 mph or even just out of the middle lane! Smile I pray for strong winds!!! 2007 Black on Black colour coded TDV8
