This is one issue
This is the 2nd issue. A turbo swap in reality is 10-12 hrs, providing everything is straight forward, no seizures etc. At an indy, your labour bill would be around £4-500 + VAT. The same job at a dealer @ £150 + VAT per hour is £2700 + VAT. A good indy could supply and fit BOTH turbo's for less than that... The closest main dealer local to me is £106 + VAT, which is still £1900 + VAT... I run a TDV6 D3, never felt the need for a warranty. Just lucky I can do the work myself I guess ![]() |
