EPB squeal/squeak victims...come hither!
after a long drive, started hearing a very distinct squeal/squeak from off-side wheels (cant tell if front or rear). with windows down it's even worse, sounds like the noise that comes out of a nissan sunny thats never been in for an mot or service (you know the type). been diggin up old threads here and I notice multiple cases of EPB clinging on exhibiting the same issue. also found this:
the car is going in to indy for other repairs so intend to bring this up - just out of interest, my case is that the EPB works fine, engages/disengages without funny noises. so i take it that falls under the 2nd paragraph - if that is indeed the case, what are we looking at in terms of damage?07 TDV8 + BAS map
