Ok, so mrs sabre says the engine light sometimes stays on and has a couple of times been sluggish when starting from cold in the morning! Any ideas what it could be? I,also,have to take it in to,see what is wrong so any ideas for a local place to Billericay Essex???

Could be one of seventy twelve things, you need to get fault codes to narrow it down. Some codes relate to the offending item, some show fault codes that are a fault elsewhere that trigger a fault with an item that's not faulty. So pick someone who knows these cars to diagnose the fault 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
