England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Firenze Red

Front end looks ok, and will probbably grow on me, but, overall still too much RRE and too little FFRR...

Looking at the pictures of the back it's all wrong... I can't see LR selling a car with exhausts like that, they stick out like a sore thumb. If that's a diesel, which I presume. surely they would have 'tucked away' the downward pointing tailpipe behind the bumper to give some clean lines???

Also, from the photo I can't see any way to access the mounting of a tow bar... I can't believe the whole of the silver section will be removed to mount a tow bar?!

As others have said something is wrong with the photos... Or maybe that's just wishful thinking Crying or Very sad

Cheers

Guy

Completely agree. There is just something wrong at the back

Let me give you an example. When you unlock the doors, lamps illuminate under the door mirrors to provide a puddle of light. Good idea. Means you won't accidentally step in one of the dog's turds.

However, I'm sad to report that picked out in the puddle of light was the motif ‘Range Rover'. And this, I'm afraid, is simply ghastly. It might as well say ‘I am a massive bellend'.

Presumably the tow bar will be an electrically deployed item as in the new FFRR so there will be no need to remove the panel.

I walked past an Evoque on Monday night and from the rear 3/4 angle it looked almost identical to the photo in this thread.

The new RRS is just going to look like a big Evoque. Big Cry
And it will sell like hot cakes to the yummy mummy types... Censored 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

He is so funny...and right as ever...role on the comment on the RRS if LR have insisted on ruining it.

Oman 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

Amazing how a few subtle changes can make a design go from top to flop....

I pinched the pics on the left from Vadim's post on the 2014 RRS thread here: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic28696-15.html

Just a few changes in the lines and different rear lights and the whole thing looks 10 times better. Personnally, I think the artists impression is how the new RRS SHOULD have looked...

Oh well, as others here have said I'm sure it will be a sales hit, I just won't be buying one any time soon as I can't believe it will look good in the flesh either, at least not the round lardy ar5e....

And it begs the question, where does the RRE XL fit in the model line-up now??

Cheers

I have been reading this topic in the hope that someone will prove that these pictures are not of the new RRS, if this really is the new Sport I wont be buying one. I really hate the look of this car, almost as much as i hate the Ewok, I could possibly live with the front end but the rear is really pants. So after more years than I care to remember my next car wont be a Land Rover. 12MY RRS Orkney Grey HSE Lux

The car on the left is the direction LR should have gone.... it's in line with the relationship between the full fat and the Sport (ie a lighter slightly smaller and more nimble version of the flagship car).

The car on the right is an overweight Evoque and really isn't a sport at all...

Fingers crossed...
