As I understand it, it's a change to the software, not in any way as in depth as the ECU, so it's just a tick box that says to the computer to display it on the screen

As mentioned, if you update the firmware of any of the ecu's its should a) back up the CCF - if the update is destructive or b) not impact the CCF

Also any idea how much the remote option is?

I've asked Keith if he can do the remote option as well on Friday not sure if he will/can but I'll report back.

Went to see Keith today, thoroughly nice chap and he has successfully enabled my Timed Climate option which now appears within Extra Features, still find it hard to believe Land Rover wanted £800 for this when the car was new, boggles the mind that one

I have also had my lights changed to Sandanavian Mode so I can ponce around all day with DRL's

and....

The remote contol has been ordered from Land Rover by Keith and I should be going back early next week to have it programmed up, I think the remote was around £90 not sure if that is plus VAT or inclusive though.

All in all very happy!

There will be a transmitter unit and a remote. one is around £100 and the other is around £20 Mike
