Australia 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Ipanema Sand
Fingers crossed

Well we have had our share of issues with the RRS TDV8. To the extent that dealer offered us as a swap with a BMW.
Either top spec X3 or more basic X 5. Drove X3 3.0dM for last few days.
Quick, but no exhaust note, didn't like the shifter, steering wheel, button placement, back seat seat set up. Liked it but didn't love it. Returned it today weather is appalling roads flooded torrential rain etc. Drove the RRS back home, and yes it was so nice in comparison with the Beemers. Much less stressful in awful weather. Will it hang together? Time will tell. We have warranty left, LRA have spent some serious time/money on the car, so fingers crossed. Certainly hope that it works as when it is going... it is hard to beat. Just, will it keep going? I have written to JC and asked him to go to LR and shoot the dog, as they are seriously letting themselves down with reliability issues. The number of people I know that would buy a LR but wont now because of what they see has happened with my car. Most people put reliability at or near the top of their requirement. SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally Smile

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

I am interested to know if the V8 is more problematic than the V6.
I had two V6 both of which were pants, the first had gearbox issues and even after trip to LR they couldn't work out what the problem was. After that I bought another new V6 with more toys and Dynamic ride. This continuous went wrong but everything else worked. When LR annouced the V8 I ordered one there and then so my V6 was a year old when I took delivery of V8. Apart from the suspension the last V6 never gave that much bother. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

I've had an x3, don't do it unless its the new shape. The old shape is a terrible ride and generally miserable! Have a good drive in the new one compared to the x5

We drove the new shape X3 in the 3.0d with Msport package etc. Had it for 3 days. and did 600km Quite a lot quicker than the RRS the 8 speed auto very nice. But whole feel of the car was just that, it was a car. Whereas the RRS has better vision, is bigger, more relaxing to drive. We just enjoy the feeling of driving a LR (when they are going of course!). So we decided to keep the RRS. And use up the warranty that remains. Hopefully we have most of troubles behind us we will be fitting a Traxide dual battery set up which should at least mask any electrical drain issues. SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally Smile
