Yes, it will be interesting to hear how you live with it in real terms, I like them, but getting in and out is a bit of a PITA. Must be the wrong shape, 6'2 and 18st!

Cheers guys Thumbs Up

Jas, I may well have a boot liner to flog. I'll be putting up a few items for sale. I'll stick them up here first
before going to fleabay.

I was tempted to take my rubber mats out but, I cant get the wee holder spikes out of the carpet so guess I will have to leave them in the car. Unless anyone knows how to get them out without wrecking the carpet?

I intend to stay on this forum (if that's ok)?.... And I've gotta make that 2000 post Milestone !! .... It's very friendly and I enjoy the banter.... and it's been a few years that I've been on here so I feel I know you guys. I've posted a couple of times on Disco4 so I'll see how I get on over there as well. Hopefully they'll be as good a crack as you guys Thumbs Up

I'll post some pics when I get the car & I'll feed back on how it compares. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Good luck with your new motor Thumbs Up

If your mats are like mine (2012 model) then just lift the mat very slightly where the hook is to hold them in place, then just pull the mat towards the seat and then the mat will become free Thumbs Up If its not like the 2012 model, then ignore what ive just said. Wink

Cheers Ady,

But, it's not the mats, I can get them off no probs, It's getting the wee hooks themselves off the carpet. I assume they are only fitted when the rubber mats are installed, as without the mat they really protrude quite badly. Hence why if I can't get them off I feel I should leave the mats in place. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

The hooks are part of the carpet - just remove and sell the mats Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Cheers Guys, I wasn't sure if that was the case. Am I right in thinking that the HSE should have come with "carpet" mats anyway, and therefore when I'd ordered the rubber mats as an extra from the dealer I should have got both? Because I didn't, and if that's the case then I think I will just take the rubbers out and add them to my list of items to sell. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Mats were an extra on the HSE, so take them out and get a few ££'s for them. Thumbs Up Your disco should come with them already fitted but they might be carpet as opposed to rubber.

Tick tock tick tock, not long now. Laughing
