United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

It has nothing to do with low fuel, rather more to do with fuel.
Today's low sulphur diesel creates carbon build up in Exhaust tracts where it cools from exhaust temperature to inlet manifold. Today's modern engines reuse exhaust gas at idle to reduce emissions and to conform to legislation. Great in theory but crap in practice as the systems can't purge at low speeds or town driving and clog up.
I just stripped my L200 after it broke a belt and its a wonder it ran. All the inlet system is full to point it restricted air flow into engine and I filled a standard bucket with oily carbon deposits which took hours of careful scraping to remove.
If you use your car for short trips, or in start/stop traffic you will eventually have problems so its important to have a blast to clear it out now and then. Local bypass in 3rd for half mile is enough to purge EGR system 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜
