I don't know the UK market very well anymore but that seems very expensive for a car which has done 140k miles. Any car with those miles is a potential money pit, the engine is fine but the transmission might be a problem soon.

I think you need to drop it by at least £2500 for a private sale, put your reg into we buy any car and that price will be about what the trade will offer. My guess would be 11 to 12k.

I paid £16k for my 05 HSE with 75k miles, sunroof, rear entertainment and rear heated seats, albeit I had to pay £400 for the belts to be done. I don't think it was a massive bargain, but was happy as it had the spec I wanted. I certainly wouldn't have paid any more, especially with double the miles.

Id hang in there mate. It is top end for sure but if its in great nick and well looked after then it will sell. Its a brilliant time to sell a RRS with all the talk of another miserable winter on the way if not here already! Prices have held if not gone up over the last couple of months. Ive just spent 3 months looking and I can say that good cars are hard to find. I paid top price for mine was happy to do so as I wanted a decent car. GLWS |

Bad weather coming...you'll sell, it's a good one 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE in Artic Frost. 20" 2010 HST Alloys, sidesteps, Hawke tips, plus minor bits and bobs along with a remap. Four spike spiders ready for the Alps again now tucked up in their garage boxes... |

Maybe ask a mod to clean up the thread to remove the 'way overpriced' type comments now you have reduced it.
