THANKS FOR THINKING OF ME. I now have a pair and you can get the resistors from Powerful-uk.£10 for the two. On there web site is fitting details, they also have a lot of videos of how to's, removal of lights, bumpers grills etc. Still awaiting delivery of my VW transporter rear reflectors but have checked them on a mates van and they seem to be ok size wise Very Happy Very Happy [img][/img]http://www.powerfuluk.com/categorylist/ran...img][/img]

They are better stuck to the light as its easier for removal in future, however this has always been advised against due to the heat that is produced by the resistor.

What powerfull uk have done is use a larger resistor so it wont generate as much heat and should therefore be safe to stick to the light.

I will try sticking to the light and then pop one of the lights out after a decent drive and see how warm the resistor has got, if its hot then i'll shift it to the metal.

wonder if it could be stuck on a small bit of stainless or ally first to act as a heat sink ? Newbie near Chorley.

What I did was sylicon them on rather than glue. It not only acts as a damper but resists heat. Just been outside and taken the lights out, after two weeks of driving there is no sign of heat damage. Simples!! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
Put a good blob of sylicon on the base of the resistor and hold in position with some tape until set (1 hour). I left the tape on and fitted straight away, could not wait Rolling with laughter
Cheers all. RANGE ROVER SPORT 2008
