I only saw this tyre on 22" rims here in the US, Overfinch USA uses them quite a bit when they upgrade stock Sports wheels with their Tiger or Supersport rims. I actually know a few owners that have them and are very happy with them, but only on 22" wheels. |

I love the F1's, but they are about £270 a corner, and not sure what they would be like off road compared to the Contis.

Having done some quick calculations, there is a 5% difference in the rolling diameter between the two tyre sizes quoted, with the 255/50x20 being the larger of the two.

Going to a 255/50/20 size would cause some speedometer error - one of the UK tyre/wheel package sites has a calculator that shows that this size tyre on the RRS would result in a 4.81% difference in circumference from the OEM size - which would result in a 70 mph hour speedometer reading being actually 73.37 mph... 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge |
