ive been looking through some threads and seen it was for sale in May 2012 with some faults , it now seems to have no faults and looks like someone has spent some money on it , anyone seen this or know anything about it . I ended up buying it for £15,000 , left a deposit , looking to pick it up later today

i dont think that has been near Kahn (for some that is a godsend!) it has just been colour coded, the vents are landrover, the tail pipe is landrover, the interior is standard, the wheels are aftermarket 22s, not khans!
id get your deposit back if you were actually wanting a Khan

^^^^^ only thing that looks like Kahn, is the rear embroided headrests! Not entirely sure, but I think original conversions come with a plate/plaque fixed within the engine bay, similar to a VIN plate. You could always ring Kahn and query the original reg, to see if it was one of the ones they converted.
Bit unfair to be paying for something you think you are getting and are not!

Its been in Kahn at some time mate , under the bonnet it has the Kahn chassis plate that is riveted to the body with its serial number , think its had some of the Kahn parts taken off but either way I still think it looks tidy and it drives really good , ill also do some mods on it over time , think for £15k im not going to get anything better than this.

Got all the old M.O.T's to prove the 111k mileage and fully clear on HPI . Its got part service history and a load of receipts for past work like suspension bushes , brakes etc , even though the previous owner has no receipts for replacing timing belts he said it has been done but for piece of mind ill be getting it done this weekend to be on the safe side

i assume you have done you own HPI check and not used the one he had waiting? which could be a counterfeit?

As Abb75 has noticed already, strange why the repeaters are not matched...would suggest a repair on the front wing?

Other than that, barely a Kahn, but that's a good thing in my opinion, the older Kahn's were a tad chavvy.

Check through the completed listings on ebay, I'm sure this has been on there before in the past, I only recognise it because of it being that number plate and being a silver "Kahn" car. IIRC it was a trader selling it last time, cant remember if they were dealing in damaged cars or what.

I'd treble check all the bodywork as I'm sure it has a few scuffs and dints etc on it. Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi
