Differences in 06-07 reliability and diagnostics equipment?

Hi all! After long nights on this forum I have to ask, (sorry, if this subject is already here somewhere) is there any differences in technical reliability on Range Rover Sport TDV6 2006-2007 (or -08/-09) models? I have been looking for a 2006-2007 tdv6 hse model. As I know there isn't many differences on specifications.

I can guess that through volume or changes in suppliers during the years, any factory will improve their quality, but does anyone know are there made any major improvements why to seek for as new as possible year model between 06-09? I can't spent large amounts of money to get the car but I wouldn't like to spent large amounts of money to just repairing it either.

And another question, how well you can manage with out official Land Rover service if you have your own diagnostics equipment? (And don't have thumps in the middle of hands) Very Happy I am going to move with the car to Finland to area where there aren't LR services in a 200 mile radius, just basic workshops and other brands services. Which diagnostics equipment you guys and girls would prefer? I have been looking for gap diagnostic's IIDTool and EAS Control because they have reasonable price.

Thank you mates for your help on this forum!

If you are that far away rom a dealer, then I would strongly suggest something that can flash modules with newer software.

A premium to pay, but can pay you back in spades if you get a pre 2007 model as there are many other updates you could do to give you 2007-2009 features.
Full error reading and resetting is available as well.

I use a Blackbox-solutions msv2 to do all the above. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
