Steering wheel play & noise / steering wheel rotary coup

I'm getting some play and a clicking / rubbing noise associated with slight alterations to the steering wheel turn. To reproduce the issue, I have the car running at idle, take the wheel and turn clockwise one centimetre or so. It does it more if turning to the right than the left, but it happens at any speed where the wheel is slightly turned / corrected.

After much negotiation with my local dealer - who insisted there was nothing wrong Big Cry - so we got the sales manager's car and could not reproduce the issue. So now booked in for a steering wheel rotary coupler replacement in a couple of weeks time.

Anyone else had an issue with their coupler? L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!
