ive been reading about the debate on adding 2 stroke oiul to the diesel how can i tell if my car was made for the uk market as i want to find out if it has dpf so i know which oil to use thanks pete |

If your motor is the one on your avatar then its showing its a 2005 model. You do not have a DPF. |

ive no reason to believe it want made for uk i just want to find out if it has a dpf or not so i know whether to use semi synth 2 stroke or not cheers pete |

DPF's was first fitted to the sport & Disco 4 models early 2010 onwards. |

Thanks again ady you are a very knowledgable person sussing the age of my car from the picture.Having read all the info of the topic of 2 stroke on here and on the free2 site i think personally it cant do any harm to add it.My car has done 85000 miles on a 55 plate i think even if it wasnt added from new then it can only benefit the engine any thoughts cheers |
