United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Did it cut the sidewall? I've seen a number of reports of Grabber AT suffering sidewall cuts. Mine have a few minor cuts from my trip up to Bala a couple of months ago. Luckily they're not down to the cords so don't need replacing (I'm told by my tyre guy).

Can you get the Pirelli ATR over there? That appears to be pretty robust. Alternatively the Goodyear Duratrac. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yes, straight through the side wall .. like a hot knife through butter.. very tempted to look at the compomotive 18"
rims and some serous footwear in anticipation for a large trek in 2017... assuming its still running Whistle Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

The reality is that while GGs may have soft sidewalls, almost any tyre would have been cut in those circumstances. 07MY RRS TDV6

Garry i am planning a long expedition up to Kakadu in about 18 months time, i am looking for something
that will be a little bit tougher, and that is hard to find on 19" platforms.. hence why after meeting with
the AULRO guys, potentially LLAMs (post extended warranty elapses) and 18" Compo's with some decent
footwear to improve my chances of going unscathed... (ish) Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Certainly understand - I am running 18" GG ATs which as you would know are not LT. I am happy with them but I am thinking about putting some muds on a second set of 17" rims I have.

For your trip a set of 18" ATs and LT would be best - from what I have read and based on others experiences the new Bridgestone AT LT would be best. 07MY RRS TDV6
