United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Restricted Performance and P1247

Hi all,

2013 SDV6 Black Edition, 80k miles.

I've had the dreaded restricted performance randomly over the past 18 months.

1) - Smoke tested - found throttle body to manifold seals damaged - replaced, fitted new clips to EGR pipes
2) - Followed the TSB and each recommendation had some level of fix required, o rings, tightened pipes, air intake rubber boot was deformed.
3) - put fuel system cleaner through (Cataclean) and injector cleaner and it made it much smoother

Yet the problem still persists.

It never does it from a cold start, I could start it in the morning and drive 400 miles no problem.
If I stop for 5 mins - or even up to an hour or so, within a few minutes of the restart it'll come up. I can clear it but it will usually come back.
The car performs great so I don't think it's an actual turbo issue (really hoping not!)
It only logs P1247 - nothing else - so it's a turbo under boost situation, but why only on a warm restart?

I've got SDD but just rebuilding the laptop with a virtual win7 build as SDD not compatible with Edge.

Any ideas? I'm at a loss Big Cry
